Description
The Town of Thunderbolt, Georgia is soliciting proposals for comprehensive disaster debris removal, reduction, and disposal services. This includes managing various types of debris such as vegetative, construction and demolition, mixed debris, white goods, electronic waste, household hazardous waste, abandoned vehicles and vessels, waterway debris, soil, mud, silt, sand, concrete, animal carcasses, hazardous stumps, trees, and limbs. The scope of services also encompasses demolition of structures, debris management site operations, and emergency resources like generators, communication equipment, lighting towers, pumps, and fuel supply. Respondents must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in debris management and have handled large-scale events, collecting over 500,000 cubic yards as a Prime Debris Contractor. Proposals should detail the company's approach, qualifications, personnel, references, and include a Small Business Enterprise plan. Pricing for services will be provided on a unit basis, with specific rates for different debris types, hauling distances, and specialized services. The contract term is anticipated to be effective from the date of execution through August 10, 2028, with an option for two additional one-year periods.
