Description
The City of Las Cruces is soliciting bids for the South Mesquite Historic District Lighting Improvement Project. This project involves general construction services for the furnishing and installation of decorative street-light poles, fixtures, LED luminaires, and smart nodes. The work will be performed on new foundations located at the back of the sidewalk or as otherwise directed by the City Project Manager. The project includes base bid work for Colorado Ave, Manzanita St, and Esperanza St, with additive alternates for Texas Ave, Tornillo St, and Soledad Ave. The scope of work encompasses various roadway improvements such as traffic control, mobilization, construction staking, asphalt patching, sidewalk and curb/gutter installation, permanent signing, masonry wall and fence removal/installation, curb ramps, and thermoplastic pavement markings. Street lighting work includes the installation of rigid electrical conduit, single conductor wire, light pole foundations, decorative street light poles, LED luminaires, electric pull boxes, and underground infrastructure surveys.
