Description
The State of Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for a one-time purchase of a new Helitack Elite Cargo Trailer, 8.5 x 24 feet, V-front enclosed trailer, or an approved equivalent. The trailer must meet specific detailed specifications, including heavy-duty steel frame construction, a full rear ramp door, insulated walls, ceiling, and floor, a minimum interior height of 7.5 feet, and a maximum GVWR of 13,000 lbs. It must also be equipped with a 100-amp electrical package, a roof-mounted air conditioning and heat package with a heat pump and thermostat, and an 18-foot awning on the passenger side. The exterior color scheme should be red/white/blackout with blackout trim. The interior will feature a workbench, upper cabinets, and floor-mounted D-rings. The trailer must comply with all Federal and Minnesota safety requirements and DOT regulations. Delivery is required by August 30, 2026, or sooner, to the DNR at 1201 E Hwy 2, Grand Rapids, MN 55744. The vendor must be an authorized dealer or reseller and provide a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO), complete service and parts manuals, and ensure all tires are within two years of their manufacturing date. The contract term is anticipated from June 18, 2026, to June 17, 2027.
