Description
The County of Fresno, Department of Public Works and Planning, is seeking quotations for on-site tire repair, replacement, and installation services for heavy equipment at the American Avenue Disposal Site. This includes the supply of new and used tires. The County intends to award a single vendor for both parts and services. Services required include tire repair (puncture, patching, section repairs, valve stem replacement), and the supply and installation of new or used tires. Vendors are expected to remove and dispose of old tires, and for every new tire purchased, a used tire of equal quantity will be picked up. Pricing for used tires will be based on tread depth and requires approval from the Landfill Operations Manager. All services are to be performed on-site during normal business hours, with emergency response required within 24 hours. The contract term is for three years, with two potential one-year renewal periods, and prices must remain firm for the entire five-year potential term. The total quoted services should not exceed $200,000.00 over the full five-year term.
