Description
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Sierra Conservation Center, located in Jamestown, California, is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive landfill sampling, testing, and monitoring services. The scope of work includes various tasks such as field parameter measurements, groundwater and surface water monitoring, unsaturated zone monitoring, soil moisture readings, gas migration monitoring, and the preparation of detailed reports. These services are to be performed in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board's Monitoring and Reporting Program (M&RP) and Waste Discharge Requirements (WDR). The contract requires specific qualifications for service technicians, including experience with Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) design and soil moisture monitoring sensors. Bidders must also provide references to demonstrate this experience. The CDCR encourages participation from Small Businesses and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBEs), with potential incentives applied during the bid evaluation process.
