The State of California, through the Governor's Office of Service and Community Engagement (GO-Serve), is soliciting proposals for comprehensive event management and support services for the College Corps Statewide Cohort Experience initiative. The selected contractor will be responsible for planning and executing 16 large-scale statewide events over a two-year period. This includes facilitating content planning, assisting with facilitator recruitment and training, producing event materials, and providing overall project management, staffing, logistics, and operational oversight. The scope of work involves coordinating venues, managing vendors, handling attendee registration, arranging catering and audiovisual needs, and providing day-of event staffing and operations. The contractor will also participate in an advisory group to inform programming and event themes. Services are generally expected during business hours, but may require work outside standard hours to support event planning and execution, with events occurring on college campuses throughout California. The contract term is from August 17, 2026, through July 31, 2028. The maximum award amount for this project is $1,488,074.00. Proposals must include a minimum of 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) and 25% Small Business (SB) participation. Specific minimum cost allocations are required for Personnel, Staffing, and Subcontractor Costs ($686,000), Indirect Event Costs ($188,000), and Direct Event Costs ($537,000).
