Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is soliciting bids for repair and maintenance services for specialized laboratory equipment. This equipment is used for the sterilization of infectious waste and specimens, as well as for high-volume mycobacteria growth, detection, and susceptibility testing at the DSHS South Texas Laboratory. The contract will cover services including annual preventive maintenance, quarterly preventive inspections, unscheduled maintenance labor, and 24-hour toll-free technical support. All parts must be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified, and technicians must be trained and certified by the OEM for the specific equipment. The contract term is one year, with four one-year renewal options, and a potential one-year extension.
