Description
This market research notice is for the procurement of medical shower trolleys and battery packs by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 - VA South Texas (VASTHCS) facilities. The contractor shall deliver 8 Lopital Marina Deluxe Shower Trolleys, Electric, with 81" Mattress, and 8 Marina Deluxe Battery Packs to the North Texas Veterans Health Care System (VANTHCS). The shower trolleys must be battery operated with an adjustable back section (up to 25 degrees) via electric operation and a 4-button hand control. They require a 3-position side rail system (up, mid, and lower). The frame chassis must be constructed of non-rusting aluminum, not steel. The length is adjustable in three positions (73, 81, or 89 inches) and the width is up to 41.3 inches between the top of the side rails. Additional features include a semi-central locking brake system with a straight directional steer feature, a removable battery pack, and a wall charger. The weight capacity must be 500 lbs.
