Description
The 502nd Trainer Development Squadron (TDS) at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph requires a complete compressed air system and a lean-to shelter. The current shared air compressor is causing project delays due to limited availability and long maintenance wait times. The new system will include a 30 HP electric rotary compressor, a 300 CFM air dryer, and an oil/water separator. The scope also includes ducting, an equipment placement plan, and a lean-to shelter to cover the equipment. The contractor will be responsible for installation, including securely mounting components, constructing the shelter, installing protective bollards, and labeling all pipes and valves. The system will be connected to existing airlines with new isolation valves. A 12-month labor warranty and a 5-year parts warranty are required, with in-person service and repair within one business day. The contractor will also provide operator training and hard copies of manufacturer manuals. Delivery is expected by August 31, 2026, with a period of performance of 45 days.
