Description
The 502nd Contracting Squadron is seeking contractors to provide comprehensive laundry and dry cleaning services at Joint Base San Antonio, TX - Lackland. Services will include pickup and delivery from the contractor's facility to designated locations on base. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all personnel, equipment, transportation, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform these services. Key requirements include adherence to CDC, OSHA, and HLAC standards, providing large laundry bins, twice-weekly pickup and delivery of lead-contaminated laundry, and ensuring clean laundry is sanitized and properly packaged. The contractor must also manage all waste and packaging materials generated during service. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) details specific processes for receiving, processing, and returning laundry, including weight tracking and discrepancy resolution. All work must be performed under sanitary conditions, and delivered items should be clean, dry, and free from damage or odors.
