Description
This solicitation seeks a new, up-to-date production model wheel loader, specifically a CAT 972 XE or equivalent, for quarry operations. The equipment must meet or exceed minimum standards for operating weight (over 24,000 kg) and loading height (over 3.30 m). Key technical specifications include a 6-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine with a DPF, meeting the latest EU emission standards, and an engine power exceeding 250 kW (340 hp). The cabin must be soundproofed, pressurized, and equipped with ROPS/FOPS compliant with ISO standards, air conditioning, DAB+ radio, heated mirrors, and ergonomic access. The electrical system requires 24V, LED lighting, and a rotating beacon. General requirements include CE marking, a travel speed over 30 km/h, a continuously variable transmission, a central lubrication system, and readiness for public road approval. Specific attachments include an HD 4.0 m³ shovel with 8 teeth for rock quarrying and a Cat Payload with Integrated Weighing System. The offer must include all standard manufacturer equipment and any integral parts necessary for complete operation. A 36-month/2500 operating hour warranty, including required customer service, is also specified.
