Description
This solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price contract for a riding lawn mower to be delivered to the VA Long Beach Health Care System. The period of performance is 60 days after receipt of order. The solicitation is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside. The required lawn mower must be a commercial-grade unit, specifically a Brand Name or Equal to Exmark Lazer ZX-Series with a 34.5 HP Kawasaki FX820EVO engine and a 60-inch cutting deck. Key features include electronic fuel injection, a 12-gallon tank, adjustable cutting height, zero-turn capability, and construction suitable for heavy-duty use in a healthcare facility environment. Safety features meeting ANSI/OPEI commercial mower standards and operator-presence controls are also required. The equipment must be compatible with existing VA grounds maintenance fuel types and have readily available replacement parts. Installation is not required. The warranty must be appropriate for continuous outdoor service, with vendor support for maintenance or parts availability.
