Description
The State of Delaware Department of Insurance is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for actuarial consulting services. The selected firm will provide services including the review and analysis of property and casualty rate and rule filings, workers' compensation loss reserves, captive applications and financial reviews, accident and health rate filings, life and annuity form filings, and consulting for the Office of Value Based Health Care Delivery. The contractor will also provide advice on legislative changes, respond to inquiries from the Department and the NAIC, and review long-term care and Medicare Supplement rates. Services will be broken down into discrete billable services and discretionary non-billable services. All reviews of clean filings are expected to be completed within 10 business days. The contract term will be for three years with two optional one-year extensions.
