Description
The United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Eastern District of Kentucky is soliciting quotes for Grand Jury and Deposition Court Reporting Services. The contract will have a base period from July 15, 2026, through July 14, 2027, with four one-year option periods. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes providing court reporters for Grand Jury proceedings and depositions. Specific services include various transcript turnaround times (e.g., 10-day, 5-day, 3-day, 2-day, next-day, and same-day), condensed transcripts, keyword indexing, additional copies, exhibit copies, DVD/CD/Thumb Drive media, videographer attendance, attendance fees, and cancellation fees. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a Time and Materials (T&M) contract type. The minimum guaranteed amount for the contract is $5,000.00, with a maximum order limit of $100,000.00 per order. Security requirements are stringent due to the sensitive nature of Grand Jury materials. All contractor personnel requiring access to Grand Jury material will need to undergo a background investigation and obtain security approval. Specific security measures for handling, processing, storing, and transporting Grand Jury information are detailed in the solicitation, including requirements for approved rooms, doors, locks, alarm systems, and IT equipment. All court reporters must be certified and comply with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
