Description
The City of Del Rio is soliciting proposals for comprehensive vending machine services. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing, operating, maintaining, and insuring vending machines that offer a variety of cold sodas, juices, water, sports drinks, energy drinks, and a wide selection of pre-packaged snacks, including healthy options and candies. Machines must accept both cash and card payments and be energy efficient. The City has designated several locations for these services, including the San Felipe Springs Golf Course Pro Shop, City Hall, W.I.C. office, City Hall Annex, Del Rio International Airport, Emergency Operations Center/Fire Station/Combined Dispatch, Transportation Building, and the Purchasing/Streets/Fleet Department. The golf course is also interested in exploring the possibility of machines offering items such as sandwiches and baked goods. The vendor will be responsible for all maintenance, security, and ensuring machines are kept clean and in good working order, with service calls responded to within three business days. Products must be of good quality, fresh, and current manufacture, with individually marked expiration dates. Outdated or expired items are to be removed and replaced. Machines must be delivered and operational within 45 days of award. Pricing for all items will be clearly posted on each machine and will not increase during the agreement term. The vendor will pay the City a monthly commission based on a percentage of gross revenue, submitted with a detailed sales report.
