Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking information regarding companies capable of providing comprehensive chemical water treatment services for the Whiteriver Indian Health Service Unit located at 200 West Hospital Drive, Whiteriver, Arizona. The services required include monthly onsite inspections, water testing, and chemical water treatment for various systems such as cooling towers, condensing boilers, closed loops, and water softeners. The contractor will be responsible for testing makeup water characteristics and treating the water to prevent scale, corrosion, microbiological contamination, and freezing. All necessary chemical testing reagents, kits, instrumentation, and treatment chemicals will be provided by the contractor. Testing must be conducted mid-month to ensure coverage within each calendar month, adhering to Joint Commission standards. Monthly reports summarizing inspections, testing, and treatment actions are required. The IHS intends to prioritize purchases for Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) to the maximum extent possible, in accordance with the Buy Indian Act.
