Description
The Town of Florence is seeking proposals from experienced consulting firms to prepare a Town of Florence Redevelopment Plan. This plan will serve as a tool to guide the town's future growth and development, focusing on the area bisected by SR-79 (Pinal Parkway). The selected firm will partner with the Town to create a concise, user-friendly document with appropriate goals, objectives, and policies to guide the redevelopment, revitalization, and stabilization of the Town's Historic Downtown & Core Area (HDCA) eastern boundary. The project scope includes tasks such as initial project visioning, technical report outlining, base mapping, historical background research, land use and zoning analysis, community facilities and service condition assessment, socio-economic condition analysis, designation of slum and blight, economic base indicator assessment, drafting of vision, goals, and objectives, development of redevelopment plan products, cost of development analysis, transportation and circulation planning, economic development strategy, land use implementation, and a public participation program. The project is expected to be completed within twelve months of the Notice to Proceed.
