The U.S. Embassy in Windhoek, Namibia is soliciting quotes for roof leakage inspection and repair services at four of its residential properties. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price type. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and consumables necessary for the inspection and repair of roof leaks. The scope of work includes conducting comprehensive roof inspections at each property to identify sources of leakage, documenting findings with photographs and detailed notes, and identifying affected areas, water damage extent, and underlying causes. The contractor will also need to assess structural integrity, check flashing, valleys, penetrations, and drainage systems. A detailed inspection report with recommendations will be required for each property. Repair work involves addressing all identified leaks, replacing damaged roofing materials with matching existing materials in design and color, and ensuring architectural consistency. Any underlying structural issues will also be addressed. The contractor must use high-quality, premium-grade materials that match existing specifications and meet or exceed original manufacturer standards, and all work must be performed by qualified, experienced roofing professionals in compliance with local building codes and manufacturer guidelines. A minimum one-year warranty on materials and workmanship is required, along with manufacturer warranties on all materials.
