Description
Lewis County is soliciting bids for the SWW Fairgrounds Friendlyville Improvements project (Project #31-2607b). This project aims to transform an under-utilized area of the fairgrounds by regrading the terrain, installing ADA-compliant pathways, and restructuring gates for improved flow and accessibility. Key aspects of the work include site preparation and temporary erosion and sediment control (TESC), demolition of existing structures, installation of approximately 10,400 square feet of new asphalt paving, drainage and stormwater improvements including a conveyance drain and infiltration gallery, and water service improvements. The project requires vendors to have experience in delivering high-quality, long-lasting improvements that balance functionality, accessibility, and thoughtful design. Vendors will be evaluated on their responsibility and responsiveness, with a bid guarantee of 5% required for bids over $40,000. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Lewis County procurement portal by 2:00 pm on June 30, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid walk will be held on June 15, 2026.
