Description
The County of Ocean is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive services for commercial personnel doors, frames, and associated hardware. This includes furnishing, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, maintenance, and servicing on an as-needed basis throughout the contract term. The scope covers hollow metal doors and frames, fiberglass doors, fire-rated doors, aluminum storefront doors, and associated framing systems. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete and operational installations and maintenance. Contractor personnel must always wear company-issued photo identification and comply with all facility rules, regulations, and security procedures. Background investigations and security clearances may be required for access to certain facilities. Work is to be performed during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), excluding holidays, though emergency services with a two-hour response time (one-hour call-back, one-hour on-site arrival) are also required. Materials will be invoiced at actual wholesale cost plus an awarded markup percentage, with supplier invoices required. The County estimates expenditures of approximately $400,000.00 for materials and $10,000.00 for equipment rental over the contract term. All installations must comply with applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, including ADA requirements and fire/life safety codes. A minimum one-year warranty on all labor and workmanship is required.
