Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting market research to identify qualified small business concerns capable of propagating, delivering, and installing native plant materials. This is for riverine restoration, post-fire rehabilitation, and ecosystem recovery projects administered by the Utah Reclamation Mitigation and Conservation Commission for the Bonneville Unit of the Central Utah Project. The work will occur within specific watersheds in Utah, including Diamond Fork, Duchesne/Strawberry, Great Salt Lake, Jordan River, and Provo River/Utah Lake. The contract is anticipated to be a multiple-award IDIQ with a five-year ordering period plus a six-month extension option. Task orders will be competed among IDIQ holders and evaluated based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The scope of work includes collecting and propagating locally adapted plants, transporting and delivering them to designated project sites, and installing them according to vegetation community prescriptions, water availability, and restoration plans. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, supervision, plant materials, equipment, supplies, tools, logistics, and incidentals. Plant materials must be native to the region, locally sourced, and adapted to site-specific conditions. The contract has a maximum dollar amount of $2,500,000 and a minimum of $25,000, with performance anticipated from September 2026 through August 2031.
