Description
The USDA Forest Service, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, is soliciting quotes for the Trout Creek Cut-to-Length Stewardship Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC). This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under the R5 Pacific Southwest Stewardship BPA, and only current BPA holders are eligible to submit quotes. The project involves cut-to-length logging systems to harvest sawtimber from approximately 248 acres. Services include thinning small trees, removing dead trees, treating fuels by mastication, and hauling biomass and cull logs off-Forest. Temporary roads will be constructed and decommissioned, and road maintenance will be performed on roads used for timber haul or damaged by operations. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside, with the applicable NAICS code being 113310 - Logging, and a small business size standard of 500 employees.
