Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Aliceville, is seeking a contractor to replace dry fire suppression system valves and air compressors. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and supplies necessary for this replacement. This includes inspecting and testing each component, providing a report of installed valves, and performing a complete test of each system after replacement. All work must adhere to seismic zone requirements, environmental compliance, life safety, NFPA, OSHA, and all federal, state, and local codes and regulations. The period of performance is not to exceed 120 calendar days from contract award. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, excluding Federal Holidays, unless otherwise approved. Contractors will be required to complete NCIC background screenings.
