Description
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER)/Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR) requires the acquisition of a Hypoxic Chamber Replacement Shell for an existing chamber. The current Coy Lab Products 2-person O2 Control Glove Box Hypoxic Chamber, model 8375065, has an outer shell that is cracking, allowing room air to enter and potentially ruin experiments. The replacement shell must be compatible with this model and maintain a low-oxygen environment for culturing bacteria. The replacement shell should be for a two-person (4-port) glove box with controlled temperature, pressure, O2, CO2, and humidity. Key technical requirements include an internal workspace of 59" L x 23" D x 23" H, an airlock for transferring samples without altering the internal environment, and digital controls for the airlock and glove box temperature and humidity. An anaerobic kit for hypoxic glove boxes is also required.
