Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, in support of the U.S. Army Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA), is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Windowless Gas Proportional Detector. This instrument is intended for calibrating Large Area Alpha and Beta plated sources and will be delivered to the Army Primary Standards Laboratory (APSL) at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The RFI specifies a particular model (43-135-1) and provides detailed technical specifications for the detector, including platinum-coated components, spacing, voltage requirements, connector type, and pressure ratings. This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a commitment to issue a future Request for Proposal (RFP).
