Description
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest Region, requires a contractor to install dedicated 120VAC and 240VAC receptacles and an underfloor electrical gutter system within their Data Center located in Phoenix, AZ. This project supports the deployment of a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The scope of work includes furnishing and installing eight (8) 240VAC, 20-amp receptacles with individual dedicated 20-amp circuit breakers, and eight (8) 120VAC, 20-amp receptacles. Each designated data center cabinet will receive redundant electrical service, with separate A-side and B-side power sources for both voltage types. The installation must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. A code-compliant underfloor gutter system will be installed to provide a protected and organized pathway for routing conductors from designated electrical panels to the new receptacles. All wiring will be dedicated, properly supported, identified, and labeled. Upon completion, the contractor must verify voltage, grounding, polarity, circuit continuity, and test each receptacle, providing updated panel schedules and testing documentation. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, testing, permits, and documentation. Work must be performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, excluding Federal Holidays, and requires the presence of a WAPA representative on-site.
