Description
Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is requesting quotes for a 150KW standby diesel generator set (Caterpillar C7.1 or domestic equivalent), an ASCO 300 Series 230A automatic transfer switch with NEMA 3 enclosure, and a Trystar TMTS-1 manual transfer switch docking station (200 AMP, 480V). The generator should be rated for 150KW at 480VAC, 3-phase, 60Hz, suitable for outdoor NEMA 3R installation, and include a resistive load bank with 25KW load step resolution. It should also feature a NEMA 4 remote control panel and gravity louver. The solicitation specifies that equivalent domestic products are acceptable per FAR 52.11-6, Brand Name or Equal. The award will be made based on the lowest priced, technically acceptable proposal.
