Description
The City of Phoenix Public Works Department is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive off-site testing and certification services for high-voltage electrical protective equipment. This includes items such as rubber insulating gloves, sleeves, blankets, hot sticks, rescue hooks, and grounding cables and clusters. The services encompass shipping coordination, testing, repairs when applicable, documentation, and return delivery. All testing must comply with applicable American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards, as well as American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The contractor must provide dated documentation for each item tested, including serial numbers, voltage ratings, pass/fail results, and reasons for failure if applicable. Failed items must be clearly identified with written failure documentation. The contractor is responsible for providing prepaid UPS labels for outbound shipments and all return freight charges. The entire service cycle, including transit, should take approximately 14 calendar days.
