This opportunity involves upgrading and changing the electrical circuits within a classroom at the Giddings State Juvenile Correctional Facility. The scope of work includes running power for a new 40-gallon water heater (30 Amp/240V), two separate 30-inch electric residential stoves/ranges (each requiring a 40 Amp/240V circuit), eight receptacles (two per circuit, 20 Amp/110V), two separate residential dishwashers (each requiring a 20 Amp/110V circuit), a stackable clothes washer and dryer (30 Amp/240V), a commercial refrigerator (20 Amp/110V), a commercial freezer (20 Amp/110V), and an ice machine (20 Amp/110V). All wiring must be copper and meet state and local codes per the NEC. Contractors are recommended to perform a site visit before bidding.
