Description
The County of Lancaster, in conjunction with the Lancaster County Cooperative Purchasing Board (LCCPB), is soliciting bids for the provision of bulk road salt and water treatment salt. The contract will have a base period of two years, with the intention of fulfilling this obligation in the most economic and efficient manner. The scope of work includes supplying sodium chloride roadway de-icers conforming to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation specifications, as well as water treatment salt meeting American Water Works Association specifications. Delivery is required within three days of order receipt, with potential penalties for late deliveries. Quantities are estimates and may increase or decrease as needed. The contract may be awarded on a line-item or total package basis, and is an indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery requirement type.
