Description
The State of Indiana, through the Department of Administration, is soliciting bids for a Quantity Purchase Agreement (QPA) for treated and untreated road salt. This solicitation is for the 2026-2027 winter season and will serve the Department of Transportation as well as numerous community partners throughout the state. Deliveries will be made to various INDOT sites and directly to community partners. Specific requirements for the road salt, including specifications and delivery details, are outlined in the attached documents. Bidders are required to bid on all line items and locations within any given INDOT district to be considered valid. Pricing must be firm and remain open for at least 180 days from the award issuance. The contract term is for one year from the date of execution, with potential for renewal. The state is committed to purchasing at least 80% of the listed quantity and is eligible to purchase up to 120% of the commitment range at the bid price.
