Description
The Town of Killingly, Connecticut is soliciting sealed bids for the supply of labor, equipment, and services for the delivery of Sodium Bisulfite. The delivery is intended for the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility (KWPCF). The goal of this contract is to ensure reliable operation, compliance with safety standards, and minimal downtime. The contractor will be responsible for routine and emergency deliveries of Sodium Bisulfite. Routine deliveries are to be scheduled and performed during normal business hours, while emergency deliveries must be made within 24 hours of request. The product must be fresh, stabilized, and meet industry-accepted specifications for strength and purity. All deliveries must include proper documentation, including a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS/SDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA). The contractor must also comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, including OSHA, DOT, CT-DEEP, and EPA standards. The contractor must be licensed and permitted to transport hazardous materials and provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for their employees. The initial contract term is 12 months, beginning July 1, 2026, with the option for two additional one-year renewals. Bidders must provide pricing for routine and emergency delivery services, as well as any ancillary charges. Bonding is not required for this project. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
