Description
The Town of Killingly, Connecticut is seeking sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide Sodium Bisulfite, delivered to the Killingly Water Pollution Control Facility (KWPCF). The contract is for the safe, reliable, and compliant delivery of this chemical. The KWPCF typically consumes approximately 2,000 gallons of Sodium Bisulfite annually, with deliveries generally received in quantities of 1,000 gallons per shipment. The goal is to ensure reliable operation, compliance with safety standards, and minimal downtime. Deliveries are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and emergency deliveries must be made within twenty-four (24) hours of request. The contractor must be licensed and permitted to transport hazardous materials and must provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA) with each delivery, certifying that the product meets NSF/ANSI Standard 60 for drinking water treatment chemicals.
