Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is seeking technical services to conduct an eelgrass survey in and around the Swinomish Federal Navigation Channel near La Conner, Washington. The survey will assess the extent and abundance of eelgrass (Zostera marina) that may be impacted by planned advance maintenance dredging and a major maintenance project to repair the south entrance jetties. The contract will involve field survey activities, data collection and processing, and the preparation of a comprehensive report documenting findings in accordance with USACE guidance. The period of performance is nine months from the time of award, with field survey activities to be conducted between July 1 and August 30.
