Description
The Town of Granby is requesting proposals from State of Connecticut Licensed Professional Engineers for two distinct service areas. The first is engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of a replacement athletic/running track and adjacent baseball and softball fields at the high school/middle school complex. The second area involves on-call engineering services for various municipal projects, including the construction of a year-round bathroom and pickleball courts at Salmon Brook Park, assessment and administration of a sewer pump maintenance project, and other civil engineering tasks related to capital infrastructure. The selected firm will be assigned projects on a task-order basis over a five-year term. The Town of Granby reserves the sole discretion regarding which projects, if any, will be assigned. Proposals must include the name, address, phone number, and email of the submitting person; a narrative outlining personnel qualifications and relevant experience with similar projects; at least three references with contact names and phone numbers; a proposed fee schedule; and any information to allow the Town to apply the Proposal Evaluation Criteria. The Town will evaluate proposals based on relevant experience, understanding of services, capacity, and cost, with the award being made to the respondent whose proposal is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
