Description
This solicitation is for a brand-name Governor Diesel Engine, part number 75161P91 / A9900-391, to replace the existing unit on an MCM-1 USSCHIEF. The acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial products. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) supply contract. The engine governor is manufactured by ISOTTA FRASCHINI MOTORI SPA and is exclusively distributed by Fincantieri Marine Systems North America, Inc. Multiple market research efforts have confirmed that this is the only source that can provide the required part, ensuring form, fit, and function compatibility with the existing onboard unit. Quotations are due by 12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Submission is via email to annarose.m.fulton.civ@us.navy.mil. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted prior to the closing date.
