Description
The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, is soliciting proposals for the remanufacture of E-3 AI Gearbox Assemblies (NSN 1680-01-083-2672AW, P/N 5-89856-3019). The contractor will be responsible for all labor, facilities, equipment, and materials required for disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, re-assembly, testing, and finishing to return the gearbox to a like-new condition. This is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 5-year basic period of performance. The requirement includes a minimum of 7 units and a maximum of 16 units. Early delivery is acceptable, with initial delivery expected 90 days after award, followed by one unit every 30 days thereafter. Qualification requirements apply, and interested vendors not previously qualified must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package. Access to technical data and drawings will be provided upon request through specific government portals. The government is not responsible for incomplete or untimely requests. Units determined to be beyond repairable limits after inspection will not count towards production. This is a competitive requirement for approved sources.
