Description
The United States Air Force, through its Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, OK, is seeking information on potential sources capable of performing the repair, test, preservation, and packaging of a B-52 control column, identified by NSN 8154. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for market research purposes only, not a Request for Proposal. The government is interested in identifying businesses, including small businesses of various categories, that can provide the necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for the overhaul. The contractor will be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, parts forecasting, long-lead part procurement, reparable forecasting, obsolescence issues, and delivery of completed assets. Technical data, including Technical Orders (TOs) and Repair Data Lists (RDLs), may be available through the Tinker AFB Public Sales Office. Potential sources wishing to be qualified are required to complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements, which can be found by searching www.sam.gov. Responses should include company information, CAGE code, business size, and ownership details.
