Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes to determine the interest and capability of businesses to provide specific ultrasound equipment and related services. The requirement includes an ELLEX ABSOLU S ULTRASOUND CONSOLE WITH A-STD PROBE, various ELLEX probes (A-scan, B-scan, UBM), ELLEX CLEARSCANS, ELLEX DICOM SOFTWARE, a wireless footswitch, an ultrasound cart, and one day of on-site Clinical Applications Training. Key features for the equipment include A-scan biometry for eye length measurements, B-scan capabilities, and UBM transducer functionality for diagnosing ocular lesions and other conditions. The system must support DICOM networking and include a height-adjustable cart. The training will cover identifying sight-threatening retinal lesions and performing various measurements critical for cataract surgery planning. Vendors must also provide VA Networked Medical Device risk assessment documents, including VA Directive 6550, Ports, Protocols, and Security spreadsheet, Inventory List, MDS2, Network Topology Diagram, and Software Bill of Materials. A letter of support is required for any proprietary firmware, customized OS, or COTS devices. The Place of Performance for equipment delivery is the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center at 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53295.
