Description
The Borough of Westwood, Bergen County, New Jersey is soliciting bids for its Year 2026 Municipal Road Paving Program. This project, funded by Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) and municipal funds, involves comprehensive road work across various streets within the borough. The scope of work includes milling and resurfacing existing roads, reconstructing ADA ramps, and selective construction of storm structures. Additionally, the project entails reconstructing and resetting storm, sanitary, and utility structures. Bidders are required to submit bids by July 9th, 2026, at 10 A.M. local prevailing time, at the Borough of Westwood Municipal Building. Bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit and a bid bond or certified check of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, with a maximum of $20,000.00 and a minimum of $500.00. A consent of surety for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount is also required. Specifications and plans are available from the Engineer, Mateo F. Luzuriaga, P.E., C.M.E., located at 34 Park Avenue, Lyndhurst, N.J., starting June 12th, 2026. Copies can be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 for a digital thumb drive or $200.00 for a hard copy. Bidders must comply with all applicable New Jersey statutes and executive orders regarding Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, business registration, and prevailing wage rates. Small, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate.
