Description
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is seeking information from industry sources capable of providing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair support, and related technical services for a Zeiss EVO-15 Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) located at the BEP Annex Building in Washington, DC. The BEP is interested in identifying Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), OEM-authorized, and other qualified service providers. The anticipated services include one annual preventive maintenance visit, technical inspection, testing, calibration, adjustment, alignment, and servicing. The contractor would also be expected to provide remote and/or on-site troubleshooting support, responding to service requests within 48 business hours, and providing annual PM reporting. Replacement of non-consumable repair components, excluding damage from misuse, is also required. The anticipated contract structure is a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The Place of Performance is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Annex Building, 301 14th Street SW, Washington, DC 20228.
