Description
The National Travel and Tourism Office (NTTO) and the International Trade Administration (ITA) require a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of the economic impact of tourism related to the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the U.S. economy. This study will evaluate national and regional impacts, including visitor spending, tourism-related economic activity, sector-specific effects, employment impacts, and implications for U.S. travel exports and international visitation. The analysis should provide defensible, transparent, and actionable insights to support leadership decision-making, interagency coordination, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communications. The contractor will be responsible for project management, study design and methodology, data collection (including potential primary data collection through surveys), economic impact analysis, travel export and tourism analysis, regional and host-city analysis, and scenario modeling. Deliverables will include a project work plan, methodology and data collection plan, survey instruments, interim and final reports, an executive summary, data visualizations, and briefing materials. The period of performance is 12 months from the date of award.
