Description
This contract is for non-personnel services to provide a part-time Catholic Priest to offer religious support for the U.S. Army Garrison (USAGFG). The contractor will be responsible for planning and conducting worship services, including Sunday and weekday masses, preparing homilies, and coordinating with the Parish Coordinator and Chaplain Assistant(s). The services also include providing the Sacrament of Confession and offering pastoral care with sacraments as requested by the senior Catholic chaplain. Emergency ministry, including sacraments, will be provided as needed and requested through the senior Catholic chaplain or Parish Coordinator. The contractor must be a qualified Catholic Priest authorized by the Catholic Church and verified by the Senior Installation Chaplain, and must be willing to undergo a background check. The government will not exercise any supervision or control over the service providers, who will be solely accountable to the contractor.
