Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Tifton, Georgia, requires a lightweight multi-media printer. This printer is essential for data collection, sample identification, and storage of agricultural samples. The printer must be capable of printing weather-resistant text and barcodes that remain readable/scannable after months outdoors. It should also feature customizable print capabilities for various formats including text, barcodes, images, and QR codes, and have an adjustable conveyor system to feed different materials such as stakes and seed packets. Key specifications include a print speed capability of up to 180/min at 300dpi, 1GB internal memory, and a 400ml ink bulk cartridge. The printer must operate on 90-240VAC, 24VA, 50-60Hz and feature an aluminum structure with an OLED display.
