Description
The Middle Chattahoochee Regional Water and Sewer Authority (Authority) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive financial management services. These services are requested to ensure transparency, regulatory compliance, and fiscal accountability for the Authority. The scope of work includes full-cycle accounting, monthly reconciliations, preparation of annual 1099s, calculation of semi-annual payout percentages based on water consumption, monthly invoice collection, and timely semi-annual interest and bond payments. The services also encompass annual budget development and support, quarterly budget revisions and projections, variance analysis, and monthly Budget vs. Actual reports. Additionally, the selected firm will be responsible for monthly financial statements, ad-hoc reporting, ensuring adherence to federal (2 CFR Part 200), state, and local requirements, maintaining audit-ready documentation, monitoring internal controls, and providing comprehensive audit support, including liaising with auditors and responding to findings. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred, along with demonstrated experience in government or non-profit financial management and proven audit support experience.
