Description
Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) is conducting market research to identify firms capable of procuring and delivering water couplers and necessary ancillary equipment for the U.S. and UK Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile (SLBM) programs. The effort includes generating procurement reports, performing in-progress reviews, and submitting financial status reports. Key requirements include familiarity with the U.S. Navy SSBN Strategic Weapons System (SWS) Fire Control System, adherence to applicable Ordnance Directives (ODs), and experience managing qualified vendors for component procurement and assembly. The estimated place of performance is Pittsfield, Massachusetts, requiring approximately four Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel. Firms must demonstrate recent and relevant past performance, with a minimum annual incurred cost of $4.3 million within the last three years. The contract type is anticipated to be Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Term Contract Line Item Number (CLIN).
