Description
The City of Corinth is requesting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a project titled "Corinth Water Monitoring System ARC." This project aims to install a water system monitoring network within the existing water distribution infrastructure to improve reliability, reduce water loss, and ensure consistent delivery. The scope of the contract will include environmental and engineering design services, as well as construction engineering and inspection. Key services required include preparing plans and specifications, constructing and distributing bid packets, assisting in bid opening and tabulation, aiding in construction contract execution, conducting pre-construction conferences, performing work-in-progress inspections with periodic reporting, and providing all necessary services for project execution, such as consultations, surveys, soil investigations, supervision, travel, "as built" drawings, right-of-way assistance, testing, and construction engineering. The City of Corinth encourages Minority-Owned Businesses (MBEs) and Women-Owned Businesses (WBEs) to submit proposals. Proposals will be rated based on qualifications (40 points), experience (40 points), and capacity for performance (20 points). The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and will award the contract to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest cumulative points and is determined to be the most advantageous to the City, price and other factors considered. The contract will be on a fixed-price basis.
