Description
This is a Sources Sought notice from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to determine the availability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) capable of providing Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services. The services are intended for eligible beneficiaries of the Cleveland VA Medical Center. The requirement is for IOP, which is a community-based temporary residential housing program supporting Veterans with addiction, substance use, or co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. The program includes private accommodations and can range from six to twelve weeks. The facility must provide 1,460 bed days of service annually (equivalent to 4 beds per day) and must be located in Akron, OH (Summit County). The anticipated performance period is from September 15, 2026, to September 14, 2031. Interested parties must be registered in SAM and submit their business name, address, website, SAM UEI number, contact person name, phone number, email address, and socioeconomic business status. Additionally, they must provide a capability statement detailing previous experience with similar residential housing program services for the Veterans Health Administration or other healthcare entities within the last three years, including project company name, address, contact information, and value. A question is posed regarding the intent to submit a quote if a solicitation is issued.
