Description
This is a synopsis of a proposed contract action for the procurement of a one-year license for Three-Dimensional High-Fidelity Object Reconstruction (THOR) Software. THOR is a proprietary software developed, manufactured, and distributed by iMetalX, Inc. It is the only commercially available solution capable of meeting the requirement for the creation of high-fidelity, three-dimensional reconstructions of space-based objects, which is essential for the Air Force's mission. The Air Force intends to negotiate this sole source contract with iMetalx, Inc. IAW 10 U.S.C. 3572, as implemented by RFO 6.103-1, because no other software possesses the unique capabilities of THOR for mapping and reconstruction of space-based objects. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation to Bid, or a commitment. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.
