Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs requires three ice and water countertop dispensers and three bacterial-retentive filter systems for the MICU department at the Lake City VA Medical Center. The ice machines must have a removable evaporator for repair, a silver-based antimicrobial top, 25 lbs ice storage capacity, automatic self-flushing, a sleep mode, be freestanding with adjustable legs and lever operation, and have a drain cup system. The machine footprint should not exceed 22.75"W x 24.75"D x 66.88"H. The filter system must be bacterial-retentive with a 0.2-micron double-layer sterilizing-grade disposable filter capsule, validated by an independent laboratory according to ASTM F838-15.
